Why is Siri US the only non-robot voice yet?

I tried the UK voice, the belgium voice and the dutch voice, but nothing comes even close to the US female version of siri. Sometimes it feels like you actually talk to a person and not a robot.

I think i heard at the ios7 or ios8 announcement that they would make siri's voice alot better.
They did for the US, but never added a proper voice for other countries it seems.

Personally, I find the Australian female voice to be extremely realistic.

Same for the male UK voice. I actually really like it.

Mine fluctuates between realistic and robotic... asking Siri "What's it like being you?" a la Phil during the Keynote yields an accelerated robot-voice response - nothing like what was demoed. Same if I ask "Who am I?"

Other questions get the realistic voices, like "What's the best smartphone in the world?"
