There was an article recently about Apple not implementating a better reach capability but honestly swiping is horrible on the recent iPhone. Especially on the iPhone pro max. I've been thinking about going back to Android for a "back" button. You shouldn't have to swipe from one part of the screen to the other.

What's the context of your complaint?

I think it works great. I've never had any issues with unregistered swipes or reachability on my iPhone X. I thought I would miss the home button and old gestures when I went from my 6S to the X in 2017 but it quickly became evident how much easier the gesture based UI was to use.

Going from the best to a inferior operating system isn’t going to make your life easier. 😂

Swipe issues, what will they think of next. 🤦‍♂️

My swipe issues are related to being overly sensitive to lateral movement. I swipe up and instead go to a different screen. Often just taking it out of my pocket invokes the camera. Happens a lot. Wish there was a sensitivity setting.

i used to use Swipe on my Note 20 Ultra...it was so horrible.like so effin horrible i would curse at myself for even wanting to use Swipe gestures...then came the 12 Pro Max...never cursed again...Swipe works flawlessly well.

it actually takes 2 taps to activate camera.1st tap to wake the screen and the 2nd tap(need to hold for a sec and the phone vibrates) to turn on camera. But i get what you mean,in Android theres this Pocket Mode where the phone detects that its in your pocket so it wont activate.
