I ask in part because I'm not sure if this is a configuration issue on my end.
In Photos (the app), the sidebar looks like this:
Notice how it includes sections such as Memories and People.
But in an Open dialog, the options available within Photos are arranged quite differently:
In fact, this is so different that for the longest time, I assumed this was missing People altogether. It's not! For some reason, Albums suddenly contains, among other things, People:
This makes little sense to me, because Photos doesn't do that.
So what gives? Why do the two follow a hierarchy that's similar enough to fool you, and yet different?
