The OP was talking about the 6, which has the same PPI as the 4/4s/5/5s/5C-326ppi. It's not any better in terms of pixel density. Of course it has higher resolution, it's a larger screen. That makes no difference on it's sharpness.

My 40" tv has a lower resolution than my 5" phone? The 5.5" iPhone has the same resolution as my 5" nexus.

Resolution has nothing to do with screen size, you can have a 1080p resolution display that is 5" or 5' or 50'. They are all the same resolution.

PPI also has nothing to do with resolution. you could have a display with a PPI of 2000 which has lower resolution than an iPhone 3Gs.
