I do not use it anywhere close to the number of times asvthe back button but I do use UT. It is a lot faster to open a page from the catch than it is to redownload it.
 
Forward and back are especially nice with gestures and the "rolling back" (or back) animation.

Yes, OP, people use the forward button (and gesture).

If you don't like it, you do know you can remove it, right?
 
It seems that the only time one uses the back button is when one ****s up by going back a page when they dont mean 2.

I use it quite a bit when I am jumping inbewteen 2 pages. I want to go back one page or 2 to re read something or check something then go right back where I was.
 
i use both the forward and back functions regularly. they're pretty essential to the web browsing experience if you ask me.
 
I like that the new version of Firefox hides the Forward button at times when in other browsers it would be greyed out.
