So my M1 MacBook Pro shows there is an app update but never lets me update it. After looking more closely it's an update for the iPad. So that's probably why it won't let me do the update but, why is it even shown on my MacBook Pro?

Why is there an iPad Update available on my M1 MacBook Pro?

m1 macbooks can run ipad apps, perhaps it was downloaded with an account that hasn't been authorised.
