I have a 5,1 Macbook Pro with the laters Mavericks, and a 1.5tb drive in the optical bay and a 128gb ssd in the main slot. I followed the instructions to create the drive, and formatted it - it boots I copied my data back onto it with no problems.
Disk Utility recognizes it as 1.62tb, which is good, and diskutil list shows:
    /dev/disk0
    #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
    0: GUID_partition_scheme *120.0 GB disk0
    1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1
    2: Apple_CoreStorage 119.7 GB disk0s2
    3: Apple_Boot Boot OS X 134.2 MB disk0s3
    /dev/disk1
    #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
    0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.5 TB disk1
    1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk1s1
    2: Apple_CoreStorage 1.5 TB disk1s2
    3: Apple_Boot Boot OS X 134.2 MB disk1s3
    /dev/disk2
    #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
    0: Apple_HFS Fuse *1.6 TB disk2
but it seems that the computer is only using the hdd.
the computer is slow, and the hdd spins all the time.

    IOSTAT seems to confirm this:

Sounds very much like the problem I had, take a look at this thread.

How exactly did you create your fusion drive?

It's interesting that you don't appear to have a recovery partition, though that may not be related to the problem.
