Why isnt SS offerred on non cellular watches?

That's super annoying. I want the SS because of the more durable screen and the fact that you can polish the case, but I don't want cellular. Sucks I'm going to have to pay so much extra for SS

I have the very first Apple Watch, stainless steel, no cellular.
So it is annoying, since I want stainless but not cellular.

I agree, it's Apple pushing us to spend just a little more money.
Then again, I was half expecting them to ALL be cellular this year, so the inclusion of non-cellular aluminum watches at least leaves a lower price on the table. Since it's still more than last year's entry level, I wonder if this is why they left in non-cellular aluminum models, just to have the "Starting at $399" tag.
