I have a question... This thread here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1404795 has nothing to do with the iPhone but is in the iPhone forums instead of the Industry forum where something like this belongs. When reported to the mods for movement, the request was ignored yet the entire thread was "cleansed" of the people suggesting this thread be moved to the proper place. Whats even more strange is there are many arguments in the thread that are still there. I don't understand the reasoning behind this. No one can honestly look at this thread and not realize its a bait thread. It has nothing to do with the iPhone yet its in the iPhone forums. I don't understand Macrumors position on threads like this. I thought if it was off topic it should be moved to the appropriate forum. By leaving it in the iPhone forum and deleting the suggestions from users to move it it simply lets the thread itself keep on baiting. So the question is, should we even bother reporting off topic threads? What rule is this thread following that allows it to be there?
