If you can't wait 14-21 days for 3Mpix and Siri, then I'm not sure what to tell you. Yes, the A5 will be snappier, but I'm using my 4 with iOS5 and it's pretty much satisfying my expectations until my 4S gets here whenever that may be.

Am I missing something? What does the 4S have that a 4 w/ iOS5 doesn't beside the camera, A5, and Siri?

why would anyone bother to upgrade to os5 on Friday if they're A.) gonna get a 4S within a week or 2, and B.) if they plan to sell the 4? I never upgrade before selling…buyers want a phone they can unlock/jailbreak easily.

The only reason to get an iPhone 4s is you already have an iPhone 4 on launch is!!!

get a subsidized iPhone 4s, don't open it! Sell it for the unsubsidized price on the same day on craigslist/kijiji.

Take that money and buy an unlocked iPhone when the lines are small at the apple store. If you wait to long after launch you will loose money on the phone.

I did this when the iPhone 4 was released in Canada and have an unlocked iPhone 4.

Just loaded iOS5 on my BB Curve....that will totally hold me over until the 4S arrives

Yah, I'm upgrading from a 3GS and am planning on using the improved camera (with the flash which my 3GS does not have) at the Foo Fighters show on the night of the 14th.

I'm glad your scenario works for you as to why it doesn't matter if we get it on the 14th - but some of us are really looking forward to it.
