Why Preview don't have the "Palm" icon for moving image around after zooming in. Can't find the icon in the customise menu. One have to mouse over the horizontal or vertical scroll and slide along to see the detail enlargement. Whereas in SL, there is this Palm icon.

You ask why a particular tool doesn't exist in a newer version of a program. Unless someone on the development team is reading, no one can answer a *why* question. We can only speculate. It's easy to move around a PDF documenr (two fingers on the trackpad). You can also hold down Option-Space and the hand tool will appear. Sorry, I don't use the Magic Mouse, so I'm not sure what shortcut gesture you'd use in that instance.

    Ok tks.

Two fingers doesn't work but Option-Space works ! Hope I can rem.

But they shouldn't do away with the icon. People grow old and will hv dementia.
