I've already seen threads complaining about the new 15" resolution. Personally, I'd prefer if Apple had less CTO options. It makes buying things much easier (Ex. Honda vs Toyota).

I feel as if 1080p shows text too small on my 21.5" iMac. Hell to increasing the resolution further! This is just about right I suppose.

I think the option would be great as it's a PRO laptop. Then the complainers and creative professionals could have their choice. No harm in that. The only people who need that res are professionals. You will not be able to notice a worthy difference in video or games. There is still the age old debate of 720p vs 1080p on a big screen television. Never mind a 13-17" screen.

Knock out indeed!! But then again for that money ($4500) I could get a fully loaded 17" MBP for less, or a fully loaded 13" or 15" MBP plus a 3G ipad for less $$. If anything this shows what Apple could do with the Macbook air.

Albeit 1920x1200 on 13.1 inches might mean tri-focals by the time your 40 years old. I'd like to see some video and or pics of 1920x1200 on a 13.1 inch screen in action.
