It seems very easy for companies to put out bands for Apple Watch, just wondering why we haven't seen any yet? I'm not talking about Chinese fakes of official bands, I'm talking about 3rd party bands from reputable companies

I'd say because most companies weren't prepared to be sued by Apple for using their strap attachment (lug) designs. They can do that now that Apple has started the Made for Apple Watch program, but that is only a few weeks old (if that) and the development/licensing process take far longer.

Apple recently posted their lug specifications and other requirements for their "Made for Watch program so I suspect some quality 3rd party bands are coming.
