Why no Apple leather case for the 11?

I’ve tried a few of those and sent them back. The quality of the leather, if it is leather, is total rubbish.
You can get a decent leather case for around $40. Mujjo are good and the leather is superior to apples. There are others too.
However, I’ve yet to find a silicon case that matches the quality of Apples.
The problem with Mujjo is that they don’t quite fit the 11. They are just rebadged XR cases. They also don’t seem keen on fixing this.
Also we don’t need people in the thread to justify what Apple is doing here. It still sucks.
sorry, I probably wasn’t clear. I was just saying that in my experience you need to spend at least $40 in order to maybe get a decent leather case. Of course if it turns out you’ve got to return a case(s) (like I have many times) it’s a lot of wasted time.
I haven’t got the Mujjo for the 11 only their XR version which after coming up for a years use is doing damn well. Sounds unfortunate if they can’t sort the 11 out.
Man!!! You get proudest Iphone Pro owner on the planet award. I see you in so many of these discussions bragging on the the Pro, and trashing the 11. If the Pro excites you enough to spend hours on these forums trashing other peoples decisions you really have an issue. Please find a more productive way to spend your time. If owning the Pro makes you feel better than others, you have problems. You can believe that most folks on here that own an 11 could have also got the Pro, as most are on the Apple plan and it adds up to pennies a day. Some folks simply like the size of the 11 better, and yes we all know the screen is inferior for the 100000th time, and we also know that we could get a S10. I could copy and paste over a hundred negative post from you. I know I am not the only one tired of seeing it. Let it rest!!!!!!!!
The iPhone 8 just uses the iPhone 7 case selection, as it was the premium model the year before. Apple definitely seem to feel the leather case is a luxury accessory to go with the more expensive phone, which is a shame. Overall there's a lot less colour choice altogether for this generation of phones than there was for the XS and XS Max... though at least the 11 gets a selection of cases, I think the XR only got one clear plastic one last year!

The Apple leather cases were a nice safe bet - well made, good quality but at a price. They also come in a nice range of colours. However, having been forced to shop around I know know that there are leather cases out there that are more “Pro” (in other words as good or better quality) than Apples. And at a better price too.
The fact that the 11 gets a few more case options from Apple suggests to me that they know that they made a mistake with XR cases. I have a feeling that the iPhone 12 (or whatever it’s called) will have even more case options.
If you want a leather case that’s as close as possible to the Apple cases for the 11 or XR then get the Mujjo case.

I loved my Apple Leather case for my previous phone and was disappointed that the only case available for the iPhone 11 had a card slot. I went to the AT&T Store and found the Carson & Quinn case, I hope that it ages as well.
It seems like it will. It’s a top grain leather case. So the top layer has been shaved down a few mm removing any imperfections that may have been on the leather. With that top layer removed, it’ll breakdown a bit quicker. If you got the black version, it won’t change much, but it should still develop a nice darker color.
