why are there no standard hubs like the standard usb hub. What I mean is there is no way to increase the number of usb c ports. For instance 5 usb-c in -> 1 usb-c out does not exist. there is always the same amount of usb c outs on hubs as there are ins. you never see 1 usb-c output and 5 usb-c input. It cant be because they share bandwidth because standard usb shares bandwidth too but they still have the ability to increase the number of inputs. It seems like we are stuck with the number of usb c ports we are given because no one has made the option to expand them. How can it be the future of usb if you cant even increase the number of usb c ports using a standard expansion hub.
Hi, this hub here includes 2x usb-c ports, https://www.simplecom.com.au/simple...c-usb-c-4-port-hub-2x-usb-a-and-2x-usb-c.html
thats 1 expanded to 2. thats more then ive normally seen. so thanks for finding it. the only downside is its 5Gbps. it would be nice if we got 1 thunderbolt expanded to 5 thunderbolt.
