Please forgive the NOOB question, but I am a member of a number of different golf, watch, and car internet forums and all of them have some kind of classifieds section where you can buy, sell, or trade.

Why doesn't this forum have one of those sections? Is it not worth the risk? Too hard to manage?

Thanks.

there is a marketplace section; however, you need a certain number of posts before you can see it. I'm still waiting to hit that number. I guess I'm one closer now...

Wow - I didn't know that. I've been a member for 14 years and I still have over 80 posts to go! I don't really care, though.

Yeah, 250 posts can be hard for a lot of people, myself included. Would make more sense to be 125-150 plus the time limit.

I’m curious why an arbitrary 125-150 makes any more sense than an arbitrary 250?
More easily attained by a lot of members. I’ve been on groups for years with low post counts. As is a lot of members I’m sure. I don’t just post to post

But that is less than 1.4 posts a day and you have made 2 posts today about not being able to make enough posts.o_O Reply to this and you have over doubled your daly post count needs.;):p

Ah, see, i worked to get an avatar, until they pulled the post requirement for that. Hence, no avatar.

Either in the FAQ or in multiple similar threads, the reasons it remains are outlined. Good luck with your posting, although you've got several months to go.

I was wondering where it was, too. I've been a member here for like ten years but post very rarely and mainly lurk. I am looking for two discontinued sports loops but I guess I need to look elsewhere.

Your best venue for anything when it comes to Sport Loop and/or Apple Watch bands in general that have been discontinued, that would be eBay. There’s no better source out there in Terms of finding something so specific, especially when there’s not really a large market for used Apple Watch bands in the first place.

never knew this ,I hope this response counts towards me getting closer to being part of the cool section

Your best bet is to get into a really fervent debate with someone about something not especially important. You'll have the requisite post count in no time ;)

Thanks, I looked on eBay and the only ones I can find are for the 38/40mm when I need for the 42/44mm (they're also crazy expensive). I may just try a knockoff one and see if the lugs fit more flush than the two third party leather straps I bought and returned from Amazon.

Try Jetech on Amazon.

anyone know of places to buy/sell/trade aw bands?
I still think ebay is the best. The silicone bands are almost identical and at a tenth of the price totally worth it. I've bought two real Hermes bands and two authentic apple link bands (both stainless and space black). In all of my experiences with ebay I've only received one band that I wasn't happy with.

I have to agree that the 250 post minimum is a bit ridiculous. I have been a member for 16.5 years, but just rarely post. Plus I don’t see the benefit to just posting to reach the minimum. It just encourages useless posts.

I agree. It seems like it should be either a time limit or a post count, not both. At the very least it should be a much lower post count.
