Hello!

I bought my Macbook pro 16 in December and have like many others experienced some issues with crashes, in my case a few panics when / and always a freezing system when doing the Geekbench 5 test.

Real life issues for me in Mac OS are crashing games through Steam (but the latest sofware 10.15.4 was in that case a step in the right direction for me) - but like others have reported the update did not provide a solution for the Geekbench stress test (whether it is software or hardware i'm not qualified to even speculate).

But to my question: Why haven't i had any issues with crashes in Bootcamp when playing the same games there as in Mac OS, i even stress the system even more with other more demanding games there in Windows?

The Geekbench 5 test aside, if this is a hardware issue (Intel), why isn't that showed in Bootcamp like in Mac OS? Or is it a sign that Apple have released a very weak Catalina?

Many thanks in advance!

Ask Steam that question. It is just an application to the OS. Same with Geekbench 5.

Based on the number of YouTube videos, plenty of people have no issues with running benchmarks on MacOS

Two different operating systems, It seems that you're incurring instability and problems related to macOS where as Windows is more stable. It could be the steam app is more stable on windows, but since you're talking about other crashes it may be more of an OS thing.
