Why no HDR from Fox Sports app?

I am watching the Cup game and the info card for Fox Sports on the Apple TV say 4K but when I play it, it’s not in HDR. Anyone getting the match in 4K on the ATV? Is this normal for the Fox Sports app?

Does it say HDR or only 4k?

4K and HDR are two totally independent things. You can have 4K without HDR and HDR without 4K.

Thanks for the responses. I am currently watching the Michigan Ohio State game, and in the FoxSports app, it shows the game as being 4K HDR. When I play the game through the app, my TV does not indicate that it’s an HDR broadcast. My Sony will show whether or not it’s HDR when you open the picture settings. If it is There will be an HDR badge. But while watching the game, there is no HDR badge. This was the same as the soccer match yesterday.

Now the picture looks pretty good. And it might be a high-quality SDR signal. So I’m not really sure what’s going on.
