Why no iTunes for Android?

Im glad i dont have to use iTunes any longer. Dont dislike it, just glad i dont NEED it.

DoubleTwist is a very mediocre alternative to iTunes. It gets the job done, but nothing special.

If I happen to have a Sony Ericsson Android phone like the XPERIA Play, I would rather use MediaGo. Not as good as iTunes or Zune, but better than DoubleTwist at least.

I used it when I had a Nexus One, I can't say I was impressed. But it is at least something. If you're using Windows you can use Winamp too... both the Windows version and the Android app. Does pretty slick wireless syncing as well.
