Why no Thunderbolt-->USB3.0?????

It's great that the new tb-gigabit and tb-firewire adapters are out, but why no love for people with older (not by much) macs? obviously apple has jumped on the usb 3.0 bandwagon along with tb, but why only the 2 new adapters? The only reason why I even considered upgrading to the new mba before the announcement (other than a possible retina) was usb 3.0 but would much rather have an adapter

And that is why you want USB 3.0 on your Mac you better upgrade no adapter for anybody!
