iOS Why not for iPad about Navigation-Based and Utility?

I just found the template Navigation-Based and Utility is not for iPad, only for iPhone, I want to know why?

Does iPad has a big screen? then if I want to know make such app for iPad, which template do I have to use? maybe Windows-Based template?

Well first of all think of the screen size constraints for each platform. You could create a navigation based utility for the ipad but why not make it be a split view or things that take advantage of the additional space.

You are right, I don't want to use that template, I just study how to use Window-Based template with IB to build all app.

I read some of books, but most of them only talk about using other templates or using window-based template without IB.

Where can I find such information for window-based template with IB for all app?
