why o why i wonder -----

I have the fully specced 2017 5k machine and here is an issue i have ...

If i run a game like counterstrike and open vlc or itunes to play a song while i game i lagg out like hell
If i open firefox when i have twitch tv app open i lagg my ass off
anything basicly heavy plus a simple thing puts so much strain on the cpu its just stupid and a i7 wth 4.5 ghz should be able to handle more then 1 process at the time .. u think

then i install windows and OMG FCKn GOD everything runs like butter -- i can open what ever i want when ever i want and it just flows, no matter what i throw at the machine

so my question is why !! just WHY is osx so bad .... it ruins my day .. everyday
I doubt i ever run anything else but windows on this machine
And why do i even bother being fan boy when its obviously crap -- why oh why i wonder

If it's that bad maybe something is wrong with macOS on your Mac. Reinstall it

It sounds like you have multiple issues...

You may have a corrupted OS install, simply reinstalling over your existing installation may solve it, or you may need to do a clean install if that doesn't help.
The applications in question may have corrupted profiles. To test them, enable the guest account on your machine and run the applications. If they run fine, then you will need to create new profiles for them, or in the case of VLC re-install.
You may also have storage issues. You don't see them in Windows because Windows operates on a different physical location on your storage medium. A scan of the hardware, either with Disk Utility or a 3rd party system may locate an issue.

it is NOT typical behavior; most of us are running mac os without such issues. if an OS reinstall, or any other troubleshooting doesn't fix it, and if windows gives you what you need, enjoy that.
