iPod touch why on all ipod back is like mirror??

why Apple release the ipods with back like mirror is it. Just was at my friend he just get the ipod touch 4g and i cant wait till christmas to get mine, what really weird that why they apple sail ipod touch with a mirror on the back and the problem is that you cant even sail that ipod touch in about 5-6 months just because huge huge scratches. My question is: WHY ARE THEY SAIL IPOD TOUCH WITH CLEAN AND MIRROR BACK WHY THEY CANT DO LIKE BLACK OR SOMETHING????, and its kinda cool ipod touch with black back, is it cool?? I hope in sometime they will change that. who have already iPod touch 4G and has scratches on it? and the case is not even help a lot?:confused:
 
It's a good way for Apple to make money. They put easily scratchable backs to the iPod so after 10-12 months it looks like crap to the average user, and then they want a new one :)

I wish they had a back like the iPad, but that won't ever happen. Silver backings are the flagships to most iPods.

I believe it has sonething to do with heat dissipation and keeping in line with the style of the classic iPods.

Put a case as soon as you start to use it. Did that and can't see real scratches through my clear case!
 
I find the mirrored back very useful for checking to make sure no aliens are behind me when someone photographs me.

Clearly Steve Jobs designed it that way to help all of us with the same worries.

Here is a photo of me that was NOT taken by an iPod, and I clearly have been caught out by an alien that was implanted by NASA. Dang!

I was happy at the time but my life has forever been ruined by this traumatic experience. Now I refuse to allow anyone to photograph me with anything other than an iPod.
