Yea, I have to agree that the iBooks are a very good value for the $ and I personally LIKE the lower res screen as I can read it better! However the Mac in my blood wouldn't allow me to just own an iBook and I got a 1gig Tibook just because I love them. But really the iBooks are GREAT. I haven't even turned on my new (old) Tibook but once since it came last week. I have a 14" iBook 1.33ghz. And for me, with the aging eyes, the 12" ibooks and 12" pbs are too small, and the PBs are too delicate and bendable for everyday travel. I busted my first tibook twice, once by gently tapping the side of it as I brought it into the house, the other by a low ball fall when I lost my grip on it. Both incidents cost me 200 to 300 bucks apiece.
