I ordered a 42 mm lake green braided solo loop but it's not due to arrive until mid October! It's not available in store either. I'm so glad I didn't order my watch with it or I'd still be waiting awhile!

Or the 49mm Milanese loop that seems to be unobtainium outside of North America. For such a luxury, discretionary ‘shut up and take my money’ item it seems to be a huge mess up to have such a bottleneck on supply. By the time it’s available well into November I will have come to my senses and won’t be spending A$300 for a band of all things, I need to save up for an M4 Mac mini…

Apple goofed this time. I am glad I got my paws on the natural Ti Milanese loop on Sep 20. The first apple customer service personel told me the Ti loops are all sold out but I found the last one on the shelf so I went ahead and brought it thinking I will return it in a few days due to the cost. It ended up being one of my favorite band.

Hopefully the supply issue gets resolved and more people can enjoy the new bands.

I didn’t order a new series 10 watch because I couldn’t order it in combination with a braided loop! Depending on colour and size wait times until November!
I visited an Apple Store for a different reason, had a look at the watches, and it turned out they had 1 braided loop in my desired colour and size!

something something carbon reductions prioritizing slower boat shipping something something

People are not buying like they used to and Apple seems to be keeping their inventory tight. They learned when they got stock with a lot of unsold FineWoven inventory.
