Thin is in. Just look at large screen HGTVs. My 46" Sony is only 1/2" thick around the bezel. It's not until you're almost edge on that you see the 1" thick bulge for the electronics. It's the same for the new iMac. You also have to be almost edge on to see it's true thickness.

Well maybe today people aren't valuing it so much. AAPL down 20 points.

Are you suggesting the stock is down because the 21" doesn't have user upgradeable RAM, haha...

1) APPL is down $20, not 20 points
2) AAPL up and downs are driven by iPhone and iPad business, not the iMac sales, and even less the iMac's shape
3) today's performance comes from the pricing of the iPad mini, as well as the lower than expected sales of iPad this quarter

No I am certainly not suggesting that. I was being sarcastic.

1) Do you even know what the stock market is? $=points
2,3) I was being sarcastic. The poster was talking about people valuing design being the reason the stock is high, I was making a joke that people don't like the new designs. Get over yourself. AAPL's stock price always drops significantly on keynote days for some reason. It's already up 2.5 in after hours trading, we should see it inch back up even more tomorrow.

I appreciate the fact that the new iMac is thinner, but I am most interested to get a first hand look at the display and see if it is indeed more color accurate than before and less glare also.
