Why the camera of iPad PRO is only 8MP?

Because nobody wants people to take pictures with a 13" tablet.

The camera is just there for things like video chat, which it is perfectly adequate for.

The galaxy note 2 which I bought few years ago has a 8MP camera. Why such an expensive high end iPad PRO uses 8MP camera as well?

8MP it's more than enough few years ago my Nikon D1 has only 5MP with amazing pictures. what will make it
a better camera will be better lens and sensor. with higher MP and poor lens you going to get more garbage
