iLife, iDvd, iMovie, etc.... Howcome they all have the i before them?

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't find it. Its really hard to search for the letter 'i'. :confused:

I think everything with an 'i' was for the internet. But then the 'i' became catchy and just stuck.

That's exactly right. On the original iMac it stood for internet, but now it is just a marketing tool to denote the consumer products from the professional products.

i think they use it like it means "integrated"

i think the internet is just assumed since the imac
was advertised as "internet ready"

can't be sure tho
