iPhone 11 Pro Why the notch?

Is there an explanation as to why the new iteration of the iPhone has a notch and the current iPad Pro does not? I am just curious if this information has been shared.

Yes. The bezel of the ipad is as wide as the notch. So basically one endless notch😉

The iPad has a bezel and iPhones don’t. It’s as simple as that.

The iPad has wider bezels which allows for all the sensors to fit without needing a notch.
