Why the processor is running 2 times slower?

Hi everybody.I have an imac 27 2010 with an i7-860 processor.When i7-860 was on imac 27 2009, macos worked smoothly and in the Geekbench 5 test it scored 490 and 1800.Now imac 27 2010 is 2 times less.Maybe you need to change the efi folder?

Is it possible the machine is dusty and needs a cleaning? It might be thermal throttling.

It sounds like you moved your CPU from your 2009 to your 2010 system. What does Activity Monitor show in terms of CPU cores in use and percentage when you run Geekbench 5? I have the 2010 with i7 and the GB 5 scores are 554 and 2,004. What was the original CPU on the 2010?

I had an imac 27 2009, but the motherboard broke.And I replaced the board from imac 27 2010.Fortunately, the boards are almost identical.I have an imac 20 gb ram ssd 512 gb hd6970m
