That's a shame some reviews said it was equivalent or almost as goodI have a SP4. This is the one point where the rMB is far superior.

In truth I'm really only concerned with how it feels and general scrolling and pointing all the extra swipes etc are wasted on meSince the latest Windows update the trackpad is very very good for tracking and scrolling. Its still smaller than the MacBook's, lacking a full suite of gestures, and of course no Force Touch, but it is extremely easy to live with now.
An update to my issue: I DON'T get this issue on Bootcamp Windows. The cursor moves around smoothly. Suggestions?
When did this start happening? Did it start happening after installing anything / changing something? Anything you can think of that could be the culprit? I'd want to avoid a clean reinstall of the OS, but it could be a viable option. An update to my issue: I DON'T get this issue on Bootcamp Windows. The cursor moves around smoothly. Suggestions?
The experience I've had with mine is stellar, every bit as smooth fast and accurate as the one on my 15" 2015 MBPr. Apple is highly skilled at providing an excellent tactile experience with their trackpads. The MacBook trackpad is amazing. It is one thing they did right for this model.
I have a Early 2015 Retina MacBook Pro 13" with the Force Touch trackpad. I can say that it is not behaving the way the OP is describing. The Force Touch tackled feels just as accurate as the original glass trackpad that it replaced. I use the link peeking feature a lot on Safari.I find it to be a problem when selecting certain small menu items. I didn't expect this on supposedly the best trackpad in the business.
