Why Threads Coverage?

I'm curious... Why does an Apple Website cover updates to the social media site, Threads, and not other social media sites?

It's completely OK for this site to cover whatever they want, but I am curious why Threads. Is it because they want to see X fail? Why not Rumble, YOUTUBE, or any other type of social media site? Threads is a minor player on the market compared to most social media sites, so why not cover more sites? Why Threads?

Again, totally up to this website to do whatever it wants, I am genuinely curious. Is there some sort of financial arrangement that helps keep the lights on here? That's cool, too.

We cover most of the popular social networks when there's relevant and interesting news. We may have a little more Threads news right now because Threads is new and regularly rolling out new features.
