Someone please answer my question! Because if its Michael Bay I promise to God starting with Michael Bay's website I will post a link to every torrent site on the planet where people can download a 1080p rip of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen from his precious Blu-Ray! Since he feels cocky and overconfident that's where his money is!

That strategy is going to get you banned? I would imagine it will get on there given that it is the top-grossing movie of the year and the first one found its way on there.

Didn't you ask this question like last Tuesday? The movie hits today, the 20th. Cool your jets and wait for iTunes to release it.

Edit: just because illegal torrent sites have had it for a week doesn't mean iTunes should have it.

the torrent sites have had it for a good month or so.

iTunes & apple would get their copy of the movies before they are out in the stores, they probably had a copy when the movie was released in the movies! they probably have an agreement with the company to wait until the actual release date. who knows.

These people actually ripped it from the Blu-Ray that either wen to a warehouse or something its like two months early before release. The file size in MKV is 15GB with DTS Audio @ 1.5Mbps! Using VLC or Plex can play them with no problems! Go to iTunes now! Neither one is there been checking it wasn't an option to Pre-Ordered (I don't know the advantage of that on movies)! This piss me off because he feel Microsoft was sidetracking HD-DVDs so they can do their online downloads! What of Apple? Their iTunes was a guarantee that their DRM was going them paid. That Copy Protection is crap! I can't believe

That's New Zealand I'm in the US!

So what happened to iTunes Same Day and Date that it sells in Retail along DVDs and Blu-Ray?

Have you already torrented (sounds like you have) it? What's the problem.

I want to buy from iTunes for my iPhone!

I want to kill two birds with one stone! Stone #1 - Get my both my Transformers movies from iTunes! Stone #2 - Bust Michael Bay up side his arrogant head and to make him destroy ALL the torrent sites before I release my movie! :D

Real mature!

Yeah I'm sorry I guess that history lesson of the Boston Tea Party must had a effect on me. :p

You can't convert it for your iPhone?

Good job killing two birds with one stone.

Umm I said it's on torrent sites! I don't want that crap! I spent over $2700 on iTunes this year with iTunes Gift Cards alone , so I want it straight from iTunes! If I want Blu-ray then George Lucas must be releasing Star Wars Saga on it. If not no! I rather have 720p movies from iTunes since Ultra HD is coming! Then what of Blu-Ray Collections then? A UltraHD/Blu-ray Collection? This will never ends!

Interesting; it's the 4th in iTunes here. The DVD/BR release is on the 5th in NZ.

I've noticed something similar with Star Trek; 28 Oct in iTunes and 30th on DVD/BR.

In US we not getting Star Trek in iTunes until the 17th of November DVD/Blu-Ray Day & Date both have Digital Copies! Hey that reminds me in the US there's no Digital Copies of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen on the DVD or Blu-Ray!

FYI, it's not October 20th everywhere, and isn't Apple located in california which is Pacific standard time, just wait til it's midnight on the West coast then check the itunes store, if its not there then raise cain.

I be honest, New Music that releases on Tuesday actually be available at 10:05pm in CST and I'm in Texas! All New Movies releases be available at earliest at 11:20pm. Some TV shows Season passes be available at earliest of 3:00am some be little later if problems it may not be till next evening on TV Shows releases after it airs. Reason for this is the same that got to get their specials and logos ready by 12am it seems.

apple must have some "exclusive" rights then, which i thought was the reason why they did the whole movies thing anyway (to make money because they release them first)

the torrent site stuff IS NOT crap. its of higher quality then the ****** iTunes h264 media! (2gb compared to 50gb uncompressed BD).

there is no such thing as "ultra HD", there is "Super Hi-Res" but that is not coming out until 2013.

Yeah Ultra HD is 2160 x 3840. Toshiba will have the first LED TV by December in Japan possibly the first quarter of next year for US. Far videos on torrent are X264 1080p MKV. I did the research on Matroska Video File format it is open source but I doubt Sony PS3 will go to Divx Certification 7 because that will add the support of MKV files. I'm pretty sure Sony already know that MKV is the number one format that is use to make copies from HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Movies. It looks great but how? My question is how they break a 2.0 Copy Protection on a Blu-Ray Movie not just once but there are much as 400 Movies in 1080p online that are ripped. I really don't mind buying my movies support the industry, but on the other hand it kinda discouraging when studios don't give what the consumer want. yeah its funny to read they chasing The Pirate Bay all over the world! I really would rather buy it from iTunes in 720p HD I know it come with a 480p version for iPod Touch or iPhone. 720p really is enough 1080p is overkill. Dolby Digital@ 640Kbps and DTS @ 1.5Mbps is enough. I'm happy with DTS but I be content with Dolby Digital 5.1 I can use my current 5.1 Surround Sound System. I really like to make video project where I make a movie but seeing how piracy is actually a lot better at ripping Movies I rather launch it iTunes ONLY that put a end to that. All these studios need to wake up and realize the turn of the century is already and they got to change the business model. Disc based medium is a dinosaur where as Digital based content is ruling. I don't know how much money they lose before waking up! :(

i think you have Ultra HD backwards, wouldnt it be 3840x2160? so its 2x the resolution?

i gave Ultra HD a google and wiki does not verify that the resolution exists, it goes straight to 7680x4320.

i agree with you though, i much prefer digital media. disc media is annoying, but it wont be run down for a while especially now that HVD is starting to be produced and whatnot - it can hold 16TB theoretically!

i think that 720p is ugly, 1080p is still not quite good enough. i think Super Hi-Res will be perfect for my eyes. :D

I got a 24" LED Cinema Display. It's fine to me. What's HVD? 16TB Theoretical? What laser technology is this? Blu-Ray is 54-Mbps with Blue Laser. so what's this? I wish HD-DVD didn't die. I like it but these studios really screwed that up. They could have save Blu-ray for future technology but Sony is too greedy! I buy my movies and music. I cannot live like a hypocrite. If you going to support a product do it all the way not halfway? Either you all in or all out! iTunes been fine to me. I just don't know what Michael Bay and Paramount is doing because it looks like Transformers is ALL over the world with Digital Copies on DVDs and Blu-Rays plus in iTunes in other countries but the US! Whatsup with that? That's what makes me mad I don't care about the distribution scheme how can you make money in other countries besides the one you live in. We should came first not later or maybe!

HVD is Holographic Versatile Disc, basically, it stores data in 3D. there are two lasers and it burns the data in 3D. very cool. good for storage, pretty expensive but.

i think they are currently at around 2TB max storage, costs $15,000 hahaha.

to be honest i am fairly certain that Michael Bay (he is the director right?) wouldnt have a say in it, paramount would do whatever they want to do.
