Why use an APPLE iPHONE Dock?

I want a dock that has both a usb dock connector and an a/c adapter so that my phone will sync when my pc is on, but still charge when the pc is off.

Does one exist?

Comes with USB cable, A/C adapter, and several modular base inserts for the different iPods & iPhones.

I have the thicker rubber case (DLO Jam Jacket ) on my 3GS and it fits just fine on the docking station (with the insert removed).

Cool, thanks. I haven't found anything else with that double functionality yet, not even a single station dock. It being a dual station for me and the wife's phone is a bonus.

I guess this will be the one I buy.

Typing with bt keyboard

No one mentioned the dock will stand the phone for use when typing on a connected bt keyboard. Works great. Ken
