why use iChat?

ok all my friends are in msn and yahoo, how will i contact them by chat and video if i only use iChat? is it possible?

and most important, can they contact me on both of the two emails i have (either hotmail or yahoo)

when one can use Adium or msn or Skype?

I find it useful to take over someone's machine to help them and have audio chat at the same time. My brother is blind and sometimes he will run into a problem and needs my help. I can call him from across the country and help him out. Also you can have up to something like 9 people in an audio chat and 4 people including yourself in a video chat. It has some unique features you can't even get with all the other products.

Just Mobile Me and AIM users really hurts it.
