Why White Ihpone, when IP5 is close

Im confused as to why Now they decide to launch the White Iphone? To me with the 5 right around the corner they would just start with the IP5 in white. This leads me to believe:
1. They plan on keeping the 4 around a long time

2. The 5 is not going to have a design change?

3. There will not be a white IP5?

Why spend all the money on white covers if it will not carry over to the IP5

1, if the ip5 came out in June the ip4 still has a life of 14 months as it would replace the 3GS as the 'cheaper option'

2, no one knows!

3, maybe the ip4 is the testbase for the ip5

Why? Because people will buy it and it will make money. Many people have stated how they will buy one now. All Apple will do is match supply with demand. Also, apple did promise us a white iP4.
