Why wont my Unibody Macbook boot a 64 bit kernal?

I am running a 64 cpu, and a 64 efi!



So why would Apple decide not to let me boot into 64 bit mode?

Apple disabled (crippled) it on the macbooks. However, windows 64 bit versions will work.

There's various treads about that. And there is a way of booting macbooks with the 64 kernel.
