Why would a button to delete all email be so easy to hit?

I'm running iOS 9 GM. In Mail, when you're in a mailbox and you hit the "edit" button in the corner, the first option you see is "trash all" on the bottom that will literally delete all the emails in that mailbox. Why would they make this so front and center? I feel like it will cause problems for some people.

you get a confirmation menu before it deletes them.

    non-issue.

Yeah but I feel like that's not something that's used commonly enough to put so prominently in the UI. I can see the option being there in the sent mail or deleted mail boxes. But how often do you delete every email in your inbox?
