Why would anybody want 7 inches, when current design is almost 10

OK I seriously do not get it... Why go SMALLER??? 😕 Right now it's almost 10 inches. Isn't that a good size?

To some people, 10inch is too big and 7 inches might be easier to hold in their hand. Between the iPhones 3.5 inches and the ipads 9.7 inches, 7 inches might be the sweet spot. I myself am perfectly content with the current size 😀

I can think of inappropriate reasons why people keep duplicating these threads.

7" is a bit smaller, would be more comfortable to hold.

People want 7 inches so when they are checking out some adult videos on their iPad, it makes them feel more secure with their "equipment."

10" is perfect for a home device (which explains why the iPad was the first device Jobs demonstrated sitting down).

If they want an iPad device that people can carry around (and also, if they want a lower-end device that they can sell cheaper) 7" is good.
