Basically, Apple is closing it's Covent Garden store (its biggest I think) to stream the event tomorrow. The store will close at 3.30pm, 5 and a half hours before the usual time.

Why would Apple close one of its biggest and busiest stores (and get press from all over the EU to go there) if there was not something major being announced tomorrow.

Maybe iPhone 5 (redesign)... maybe not. We will find out tomorrow.

Sorry if this has already been posted!

If you ask anyone at apple whatever phone they release tomorrow will be a "major redesign" and warrants stopping time so the whole world can observe. That's how they generate all the lust for their products. Not to mention that they will probably have test units at the store for the european press to play with and won't want customers in there while that is going on.

Yeah but Apple has never closed a store early to do the UK streaming...they've usually held it off site in the past for press.

Are you being sarcastic or live under a rock?

two things. considering the store is in london, I'm pretty sure anyone that really needs to go to an apple store at that time in london will go to one of the many other locations available in the city, the regent street one is also huge.

and second of all, with all the publicity and press this will get, apple really wouldn't need to care less about one of their store being closed for half the day.. if that...
