I'm rocking a S0 Apple Watch and it's time for an upgrade so I am most definitely buying a series 3 Apple Watch. I only wonder why someone would buy the standard Apple Watch Sport vs. the Apple Watch Nike+ Sport? It seems to me as though you get more watch faces and other health apps standard with the Nike+ than you do with the standard sport watch at the same price.

So why would anyone choose the standard sport over the Nike+ sport? It seems as though the value is there more so for the Nike+ version. Thoughts?

well if you can try find a Nike+ S2, better deal imo Nike is doing a decent discount. Unless you need the features from the S3 ofcourse. :)

The only real benefit of a regular watch over the Nike version is if you like one of the included bands better. Otherwise, the Nike version includes all the same functionality plus the other extras.

Custom/exclusive watch faces as well

Nike+ version also ships two weeks later than the S3. It has a available date of 10/5.

I waited for the Nike AW2 last year. Soon as I had it I ceased caring about that two weeks. Buy what meets your needs/wants. A couple weeks will be meaningless in two months.

More health apps? I thought the Nike version differences were the two watch faces (which I'm not sure are all that great if you are not a Runner?) and the pre-installed Nike + run club app, which is downloadable anyway? Oh, and of course the band, but can't you buy those anyway (unless you are sticking with just one band)?

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the Nike version, but if you are more of a weightlifter, tennis player, etc and not a runner, plan on buying a couple of bands anyway, the Nike screens could just be extra fluff that is in your way?? Especially if you can't delete them or the run club app.
