If I have wi-fi on but am not using it (example, I am listening to music) and the wifi indicator is there but they are grey bars (instead of blue that shows the signal strength), am I still using more battery usage than needed? Am I still sucking up lots of battery because wifi is on but not used? Thanks

If you are not using the internet at all, not for mail or anything turn wifi off, i do at least, you will save so much battery, especially if you are not on a wifi network, because it is constantly checking the internet connection and if you have push on to get your email, it is doing that as well...
