Wi-Fi photo download via "image capture"

I would like to download images using "image capture" wirelessly.

Is such a bold idea possible in 2014? Right now I have OS X Mavericks and an iPhone 4S.

Not possible using Image a Capture, but there are some apps that enable wireless importing from Camera Roll. Personally I just use Photo Stream but that does involve cloud transfer which works well with a fast internet connection but isn't always practical. Check iTransfer or similar app.
