Hi guys! I just upgraded my 8GB iPhone 3G to 2.2.1 yesterday and have had Wi-Fi issues ever since. I can connect to the network and a check mark comes on next to the network, but in the top it still shows as connected to At&t 3G, not WiFi. All my apps that only work on WiFi don't work either. The odd thing is that now my 1st Gen MBP has the same issue. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

EDIT: Right after I posted this I restarted everything (modem, router, all computers, iphone) and now it finally seems to work. Is it possible to delete this thread?

Hmmmm

Funnily enough i have had exactly the same issue as you describe - and it has become very annoying when my iphone has connected to a wireless network yet will not activate any wifi services or show the wifi icon -

hmmmm. a solution that seemed to work was restarting my iphone while connected to the network - which tbh is a liiitle less than convenient
