iPod touch Wi-Fi problems in Iraq

So thanks to you guys I learned that I could share my internet signal from my macbook with my Itouch. It worked for like a day or two. I was able to jailbreak it and install some programs. Then I read that If i updated to 1.1.2 I would get faster internet connection, then It happened, I was not able to hook up with the internet. I get half pages at best, i dont have any firewalls and I tried changing channels and I did as much and changed as much as I could. Please give me some suggestion so that I can get signal from my macbook so I can go to the porta johns and read some cnn news via itouc!. I played with the dns and still nothing. thanks in advance

Not sure if this will work (since I won't have a Touch until Christmas). But try restoring your iPod.
