Was this previously in iOS? I have never seen it before. I'm fairly certain that both of these networks use the same WPA2-PSK security protocol but I am not entirely certain. I know the one that says "Security Recomendation" is using that.

i got this today on an open network at a large medical facility. never seen it on a protected network that was WPA2 or higher. my guess is the network was using WPA or WEP.

no this is new to ios 10, when i tried it mine didnt say that, i use wpa2-AES only on 5ghz, wpa2/wpa mixed with AES only on 2.4ghz, i run ddwrt. if u have access to the router make sure its using wpa2-AES, not TKIP. plus u need wpa2-AES to get 802.11n/ac speeds, its part of the IEEE spec. wpa/wpa2 mixed with AES only, is okay too.

Yes, I noticed this as well when I connected to a hidden network. It recommended that I turn it off (hidden network feature) because it made it harder to reconnect my devices.
