i have a 2002 (just in) "mirrored doors" mac , g dual 1 ghz, i know i need pc2700 ddr (333mhz) cl/cas 2.5 ...

i want to add 512 mb to my 256 mb

will any pc2700 ddr do as long as it's conform these specifications or is there a certain brand that will perform best

i have a good deal on a samsung original 512 mb stick conform specifications

what about voltage differences? anyone have some info on this?

thanks

I'm not sure about all the ins and outs of the actual RAM, but I would trust either crucial.com or 18004memory.com to get the right ones. I've never had a problem with either of them. And their rates are usually quite competitive.

better safe than sorry so i ordered from a webshop in my country via a ram-configurator...now it's "their problem" to get the right module.....

i really wonder what the diffrence compared to regular high quality ddr -ram really is...
the mac is priced 20 to 40 percent extra compared to normal ddr

feels like a mac-marketing technique to bind you to their webshop by using very exotic modules and advertising it as just ddr ....just getting ddr does not do the trick....so people just order directly from the overpriced mac-shop

well just my humble opion and a great way to relieve some stress
;)

thanks for the advice i think you're right with crucial!
