Hi,

My trackpad started freezing lately, just a few times, and I thought it was random, but I just connected it to when I open the Dashboard. I think I must have downloaded a widget that is conflicting with something, maybe in the recent security upgrade, or maybe just in general.

Anyway, how do I wipe my dashboard clean without reinstalling my entire OS? And, barring that, how do I get out of Dashboard without being able to use the trackpad? Force Quit doesn't work, and I can't figure anything but to restart, which isn't always a great option.

I have a maxed out iBook G4 running Tiger 10.4.11

Thanks.

Why don't you delete the widgets you have downloaded?😉
Because I can't do that without opening Dashboard, which will then freeze my trackpad, which means I'll have to restart, and not be able to delete the widgets, etc., etc., etc.

That's why I'm asking for help. 😛
