Looks like widgets are going away (I know they can be put back for Yosemite but next release you'd suspect not)

So, I have a page of widgets I use fairly often. Stock price, weather, calendar, calculator, system activity Am I best just to set an equivalent workspace just for app equivalents of these that I can find, or is there a way to get these widgets back elsewhere?

TIA

You can use today widgets in Notification Center instead, there are replacements for all of those dashboard widgets built in (except for system activity, but there are already a few widgets in the Mac app store for that)!
