But essentially, you can create your own stack of similar-sized widgets and swipe between them. It’s so thoughtful and brilliantly executed!

I’ve been really impressed with the small, yet smart tweaks they’ve made throughout the OS. Feels like the old Apple is slowly making a comeback!

Thanks so much. Had no idea you could make your own stack. Weather, reminders and calendar on mine.

Love that feature! Do stacks change between themselves on their own or are manual swipes required.

Now we can finally put a big Battery Charge indicator widget on the home screen. That's all I want

Is there a visual hint to suggest it's a stack instead of a single widget?

I guess the dots appear when you touch the widget. I was expecting multi colored edges (depending on the widget colors) around the stack to indicate that there is more than one underneath. Otherwise it will be like 3D-Touch where in absence of any visual indicator, you either keep pressing on icons which don't have 3D-Touch or simply don't realize that there is 3D-Touch, though in this case you create the widgets and stacks so you will know it but overtime might forget if not used often.
The dots next to it.

Lol. That whole thing looked like whoa android smh people stop it

After using Widget Stacks for nearly two days now, I can say that I don't have much need for them.

I like to unlock my phone and have an instant preview of everything all at once, without having to flick or tap anywhere. I have four discrete widgets on the home page (the only page I have, btw): Cal, Reminders, Weather, and Fitness progress. It takes me all of one second to glance at them all at once, and I'm done. Widget Stacks would require me to flick through each widget, which would take up my precious time.

I guess Widget Stacks would be more useful if I needed (for some reason) hundreds of widgets on my phone. Thankfully, I don't.

I'm still playing with the feature, but I like it. I have a small square weather widget stacked with various cities around the world whose weather I'm interested in. I also have a large News widget stacked with topics that interest me.

On the actual widgets page, I have a full-size Calendar stacked with multiple Reminders (I use it for various shopping lists).
